We tend to capture the best stuff on video when we shoot many minutes of footage instead of 30-second clips, but most of us don’t have time to spend editing hours of personal video on our desktops.
The NEW Motionbox Player rocks because it offers a sweet little solution to this dilemma. It lets you scroll through any video, highlight your favorite moment, and share it instantly.
All you have to do is grab the selection handle and drag your mouse over the filmstrip below the player. Up pops a menu that will help you share the good stuff.
Click on the “play selection” link to create a permalink to your selection, and automatically play the portion of the video you chose. When your selection is over, you’ll see a convenient menu right inside the player:
You can do this multiple times and select as many highlights as you like. Personalize your video sharing by sending different selections to different people.
To view videos in the NEW Motionbox Player, you need to have the latest version of Flash (Flash 9). If you’ve been using Motionbox without seeing all of this good stuff, it’s time to upgrade.
