Introducing the Motionbox HD Player!
We are extremely happy to present: (drumroll, please...) our brand new HD Player!
So why should you care? In a nutshell, the video quality is a *whole lot* better. We've done a ton of under-the-hood work to improve optimization of your videos after you upload them (for techies: We now encode your video in the H.264 format). You'll also notice that we've added fullscreen mode: Just click on the arrow icon to watch the video in all its fullscreen glory.
What does this mean for your videos? It means that you'll see an immediate and stunning improvement in video quality. For basic members, your videos will be upgraded from standard Web-quality video to DVD-quality. And if you're a Premium member and upload some personal videos off the HD camcorder you just bought, the quality of the HD playback in our new player will knock your socks off. (All that said, don't expect the 30-second clips off your cell phone to suddenly look a whole lot better than they do on your cell.)
We know this is something many of you have been asking about, so we are really excited about the new player. We continue to work hard every day to give you the best video sharing experience possible, and we want you to know that your suggestions and concerns are taken seriously here. In other words, don't ever be afraid to drop us a line.
To that end, we'd LOVE to hear what you've got to say about the new player. All of your feedback -- whether loving or...not-so-loving -- is greatly appreciated and our Support Team will get back to you no matter what.

Wow what great clearity it's fantastic, I hope I can learn how to use this because this video looked amazing! I have videos that i need to put on a disc of my dance competition but computer says there too large, & this HD would definitely make them look better! I'm guessing it would be better to just purchase a video recorder, I'm doing it from my camera. Yes I love your HD! Respectfully, Pixie Rivers

This video never plays. The loading seems to run smoothly and the whole bar turns blue and ready to play. But the play button does nothing. Is it the Atlantic ocean that stands in my way?

Wow, this was my number #1 request in our phone call! Thanks!!!! Now i'll just have to re upload my videos. This is cool...

It would be great if we could download OUR OWN videos in this new H.264 format.
Is this a future possibility?

When can we actually embed the HD videos? It's great that we can upload and play them (quality is great, I've tried it), but until we can share them it's not helping me at all!!!

Hey Stephen -
Yes, if you are a Premium member, everyone (Premium or not) will be able to view your videos in the new HD player. :)

Shelly and Arne,
Ugh, that must be frustrating. Could you tell me exactly what you see when you click play? Does it continue to buffer?
It may be that you need a higher connection speed because the video's quality is very high. Are you able to view any other videos in the new HD player elsewhere on the site?

Hi Jimmie,
Good news! You actually *can* download your own videos in H.264 format if you're a Motionbox Premium member. You'll be able to download all your videos, and your family and friends can download your videos as well if you allow them to.
Hope this helps - let us know if you have any more questions!

I have video files in document folder on computer. Want to edit so shorter, and download to CD disc. Can I do that with your service? Thank You Great service, quality product. RAD

Hiya BOBINATOR :)
You definitely can do all that with Motionbox. Here's what you'd do:
1. Upload your videos to Motionbox.
2. Edit and shorten your videos with our Mixer.
3. Create and order a DVD with your videos via Motionbox. We'll do all the work, and it'll be sent straight to your home. Here's some more info on creating DVDs: http://blog.motionbox.com/2008/05/get_your_home_movies_on_a_pers_1.html
Hope this helps, and let us know if you need any more help . :)
